About Us

“The power of Thought, the magic of the Mind!”
– Lord Byron

My Story

As a child, I viewed the world as an observer; some would call a wallflower. I was overweight and shy. I felt safe being invisible to the world hiding behind my weigh. When I received attention from other children, it was from snickering, teasing, and ridiculing.

It was better to live with the agony of being fat as a child than being noticed. But I craved and wanted to be a star. I became frustrated by it and started my first diet at 10 years of age with little success at maintain any weight loss.

During my teen years, I became fascinated with personal transformation through the power of the mind. In high school and college, I took as many courses in psychology as I could. That is when I discovered Hypnosis and the power to transform myself.

I used hypnosis, it worked, and I lost a significant amount of weight and gained my self-confidence. Along the way, I discovered Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT.

Using EFT has produced the star I have always craved of being. To the amazement of the child that was once a wallflower, as an adult, I give lecturers, seminars, and workshops to groups of hundred of people. EFT was the catalyst to uncovering the attitude, body, and health I desire.

I began my career as an EFT Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist. Specializing in weight loss care, I created the weight loss program for an area hypnosis center, and teach these techniques as an Adjunct Professor at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Virginia. As the owner of BreakThrough, I am able to share my knowledge and skills with both corporate and individual clients worldwide.

I teach our clients how to listen to and respond to their body’s cues, and how to channel those cues into more constructive behavior. By dramatically changing a habitual way of thinking and learning new methods of coping our clients report profound changes in their lives.”

Client Testimonials

After 15 years in very stressful jobs, I had developed a severe hand tremor, an exaggerated startle reaction, and a high anxiety level when focusing on work. I was so afraid of making a mistake that I would actually make the mistake I was trying not to make. Within a very short period, using the BreakThrough techniques, I conquered my anxiety and learned to relax. I am very grateful to Vickie for helping me reclaim my life.

Vickie presents a quiet but infectious enthusiasm and a low-key, deceptively casual approach. I immediately felt at ease doing the “silly” tapping, and felt immediate results on my chosen issue. Vickie is a real professional, but more importantly, she is a real person, not a distant, detached, objective therapist. She is involved, warm, and honestly optimistic.
