I Quit!!! Stop Smoking Now Tip # 22

22. Your body and mind are really craving oxygen especially when stressed. You once used cigarettes in a misguided attempt to increases the oxygen level in your body.  Use the experience of smoking without the cigarette to feel more relaxed and decrease cravings.

- Draw in air into your lungs through your month, just as you did when you smoked but without the cigarette.

- Hold the air in your lungs a second or two.

- Release the breath through your mouth just as you use to.

Repeat at least two more times

* You may want to be seated when you first attempt this.
May cause you to feel light head the first few times.
