Women Heart Health

The sea of red! No, not the Red Sea. I am talking about how the Network of Enterprising Women’s monthly luncheon at Willow Oaks Country Club is electrified the month of February with everyone dressed in red. It is inspiring when we recognize the importance of our own heart health by showing our support for Women Heart Health Month.  Distinguishing the importance of how our heart health can affect others in our lives by reviewing how to prevent and be aware of heart disease.

Taking care of your physical heart health will affect your quality of life.  There is one more component to heart health that needs to be reviewed during this month. How’s your emotional heart health?

Just as important to the physical health of your heart is the emotional health of sharing laughter, singing, dancing, tears of sadness or extreme joy.  This is the month to evaluate and follow your hearts desire to express what you have always wanted to experience, let go of regret, worry, guilt, and connect more with friends and family.

Woman’s Heart Health month is a springboard into taking care of your self physically and emotionally.  Make a few changes in your life style that will prevent woman’s heart disease from ever touching your life and listen to and follow your heart to health and happiness.

Oh, by the way,
Happy Valentines Day, too.
